I just wanted to say thank you very much for such a marvelous puppy! Rocky is an amazing addition to our family. He is so smart and cuddly. He has also managed the transition very well. Susan and her husband were so kind and welcoming! They answered any questions we had and even checked up on Rocky after we got home to see how he was adjusting. I would recommend them to all our family and friends looking for a new addition.

We got our first mini dachshund from Happy Cheerful Puppies in April 2024, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Sue and Rob were warm, kind, and easy to communicate with. When we picked up our puppy, they welcomed us into their home and provided everything we needed—papers, records, helpful instructions, and even a thoughtful goodie bag with food and her baby blanket.

What really sets them apart is their care after the sale. They kept in touch, asked for updates, and truly cared about our pup’s well-being. When our dog unexpectedly got pregnant a year later, Sue and Rob guided us through the process and even came to our home to help deliver. When our dog rejected her litter, they fostered the puppies with incredible dedication, kept us updated with photos, and let us visit often until the pups were ready to come home.

Sue and Rob’s love for their dogs is unmatched. They raise them in a safe, loving environment, start potty training, and even expose them to kids and the outdoors early on. They are genuine, caring people, and I can’t recommend Happy Cheerful Puppies enough!

Rob and Sue are AMAZING!! We picked up our boston terrier Gracey (formerly dolly) in June of 2025. I am so thankful we found you and that we found her. She just turned 6 months old and she’s been an absolute blessing. She settled right in with our other boston and they are inseparable. Whether it’s running around outside or cuddling up to us, they’re always side by side. Thank you again!

I got a mini dachshund from this breeder and he is the sweetest, calmest puppy that I have ever seen. Temperament is great, his appearance is stunning, and he is healthy! Will absolutely purchase another pup from this breeder one day.

We reserved a puppy and due to family illness we could not pick up the puppy and not only were they very understanding they offered us a refund and that’s not something a lot of places would do and offered us to come back when things were better to come get a puppy. Very kind and caring people
