Pleasantly Surprised :)

At the beginning of 2024, I started to look for a female Goldendoodle for my daughters and me, but because I’m a single mom of five daughters, I didn’t have a lot of money to spend. Somehow I came across trustedpuppies.com and that led me to Happy Cheerful Puppies in the great state of Ohio. (I’m in Nebraska!) Because all of my human children are named after Catholic saints, when I saw the picture of Clara and her name, it was pretty much a done deal. *Obviously* Clara was named after Saint Clare of Assisi. 🙂 I texted Rob about her and he was quick to text me back. He answered every question I had. When I sent Rob the $200 deposit via Venmo, I was very skeptical. I just KNEW that he just wanted my $200 and that I would never hear from him again. Haha. To my delight, he continued to text me about Clara, told me the name of the shipping company that would be used to ship the puppy here, I googled the shipping company (company seemed legit to me), but to be honest, I was probably going to be skeptical until I had the puppy in my possession. But again, Rob never ghosted me like I was expecting.
In the early morning of January 17th, Happy Trails delivered a one-day-shy-of-12-weeks-old Goldendoodle puppy to me in Nebraska. I was pleasantly shocked.
Today is February 8th and Clara is doing amazingly well. Some days I still can’t believe that I received a puppy all the way from Ohio. 🙂
